Launch the media gallery 1 playerOn January 13th, 2025, President Biden honored 336 teachers and mentors with the nation's highest award for math and science teachers. Elizabeth Self the 8th grade math teacher at Kepley Middle School was named as a recipient of the 2021 Presidential Award for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching for the State of Kansas. This recognition comes after being named a finalist in 2021 and there being an extensive review process.
